Ponder This :
Comparison is an act of violence against the self.
~ Iyanla Vanzant
Stop scrolling.
Read that again.
Comparison isn’t harmless.
It isn’t humble
And it certainly isn’t motivation.
It is quiet violence.
Every time you measure your life against someone else’s highlight reel, you send yourself a message :
Who I am right now is not enough.
You wound your own confidence before anyone else ever gets the chance.
But here is the truth:
No two journeys look the same .
The person you are comparing yourself to has struggles you can’t see, a timeline you don’t know about, and battles you were never meant to fight.
Your path was never designed to be a replica of someone else’s.
Your only real comparison is the person you were yesterday.
The moment you stop looking sideways and start looking forward, everything shifts.
Energy once wasted on envy becomes fuel for growth.
Doubt becomes direction.
Pressure becomes perspective.
So today, put the measuring stick down.
Your path is not behind.
It is simply different.
And different may be exactly where your power lives.
